Oh, yeah. Forgot about that. Yeah I meant Prescott Valley. My boss owns both NAPA's there so i'm used to saying the PV Store. My Bad.

I just knew about. I took the jump seats from it and saw the motor. Someone beat me to the axle though. I had a list of stuff to go back for and was going to see what was up with it. Never know, someone might want to get out of the heat and cool down.

Yeah, I'm a bit nervous about shipping the engine out, but I'm running out of time and options at this point. Finding a short block locally has been a bust, as well as finding a machine shop that will do re-assembly locally. So I've opted for the only option I've found. Hopefully my luck will improve.

You got one guess on who got the rear axle ...? ... Well come on guess... ...

ME... I'll snag the next one for you if you want one ..I get a call from that yard before any Monty hits the ground ...Nice to be loved.. We have tons of Montys up here in Prescott...The shocking thing is that all Montys that are in a j-yard here go to the crusher at 80% whole plus ...No real love for them in this part of the world ... I shouldn't say "no love" .. Just sents I dont do repair for the general public anymore no one can fix a Mitsu around this part of the world ...

Whats with repair shops and a hate for Mitsu's...?

My good buddy works at the PV Napa ... Small worlds this AZ Crew is ...

You know, I told the other half you probably snagged it when I saw it was gone. Hit me up if they get another SR disc with a LSD or locker.

Thanks John. Hopefully I'm on the upswing now.

Said I'd post up a pic of the main bearings. Pretty nasty, and they all look about the same.

Speaking of getting off my a$$:

[Linked Image]

I'm rethinking my plan a bit. I was checking over all of the cams, and cam journals have grooves in them as well. I might be better off getting the clearwater heads and using these for cores. That way I get fully rebuilt heads with good cams instead of jacking with these. Unless by some miracle all of the cams are good in Lloyd's old motor. Anyone got time to check 'em over? It's like someone threw kryptonite in this damn engine....
