When running down the road, on the gas, the raider makes a humming noise thats pretty loud until you let off the gas and start coasting and as soon as you get back under power again and start accelerating again it comes back. Its been about 6 years since I owned my last TJ and I remember noises that I always attributed to the Mud Terrains I was running but this truck didn't come with real agressive tread. Is there something I should look into that you guys can think of. The tranny fluid looks good and clean although overfilled and I havent drained the diffs yet. But the guy I bought it from rebuilt the motor and ive now put a fuel cell and Weber on it. Can the collective mind think of anything that are common issues I should look into?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me. Its likely a good idea to change your diff fluid though. My raiders a 88 and over the winter i changed the diff fluid in it....its likely never been changed, and its been beat on HARD. The fluid that came out was dark brown/black molasses. And that was my front diff X| Im gonna do the front diff soon. If i drove this thing more than just to move it around the yard once a month, id be more inclined to work on it...
