after some thought and being advised by the englishman in the past, I have to agree. The DOHC is possibly a little simpler. I keep thinking about all the shims I had on my Toyo MR2 engine. Mitsu has VLA, (right?) that said I think there are less moving parts in the DOHC than SOHC which = greater mech advantage.
