If I got the weekend news reports straight, the end of the world was supposed to happen on Saturday.

Now, it seems that many people spent hours (some even days) preparing for the end of the world. Some even sold their belonging...

Why would someone sell their belongings??? If the world had ended, what good would the money do them????

That news report did provide a little levity...

Now I wonder if this will result in personal reflection of what is important to oneself, or if that money is needed for a class action lawsuit.

Ive said this before, but isn't it the end of the world for alot of people daily? I mean with the numbers at least 1-3 people died (some horrifically) while you are reading this. Not something I like to really think about honestly...

It wasn't the end of the world, it was "The Rapture" where god takes his people off the earth. It might have happened but nobody got picked

I intend to be "left behind". Some of those holy whacks have some nice stuff, and all the interesting women will be here, too, along with all the whiskey (and left over communion wine), some real nice improved real estate, a $hit load of chebbies and fords and buicks with fish things on the back (note to self: Do not buy stock in fish thing mfrs or Bible printers or hymnal printers or makers of chastity belts), well lotsa stuff, and nobody around to tell you "You ought not do that"....

Now that sounds like a plan. Too bad those pet sitters have to give back that service fee.

I had a friend who summed up the (what the heck was the name of that brand of lunatic - I hate senior moments) very nicely.

He said, "Think of them as garbage that throws itself out."
