Charlie, most had a maserati motor, but during the Chrysler/Maserati cooperation in the 80's, a few came with a 440 torque monster. Type 4's, iirc. I rode in one during the 90's. It's possible it was a custom job, I was riding with a Maser dealership owner. It was seriously fast.


Must have been custom - the only V8s used by Maserati were their own (and later Ferrari)
