I finally pulled the trigger on a change that I have been contemplating for a while. I am going to be replacing the Trooper with a Jeep. I have been struggling for a while with the Trooper, or not really with the Trooper but with its capabilities.

Only one other rig in my club runs smaller tires than I do. Even the Samurais run 36s. Also the lack of flexibility in the IFS gets me in trouble in the off-camber stuff which is most of what we run.

The rig that I made an offer on is a highly built YJ. It has a narrowed Dana 60 in front and a Dana 70 in the rear. It has an ARB in the Front and a spool in the rear. It has a nearly new crate 4.0L engine and 4.1 Terras in the T-case. It is running 38.5 TSLs.

It needs tube fenders. It also needs doors and a top for winter runs.

As far as this site, I have talked to John Stewart and I will continue as an Isuzu Moderator.

I will be posting the Trooper for sale later this week.
