I'm(still) trying to get rid of the check engine light on my 2001 Sport, caused by my AW4 trans swap. My Sport came with the Invecs-II transmission, which I swapped out for the 30-43le(AW4)(with aftermarket controller) in order to use the NP231 t-case. Now I get four or five trouble codes all having to do with transmission solenoid and shaft speed sensor failures. My plan to fix this was to get The ECU and harness from the 97-99 Sports that came with the 30-43le and swap that in, but I'm having trouble finding that stuff for reasonable $$.

So, I read and heard that the 98-06 mitsu computers are reprogrammable. Has anyone done it themselves, or know of a shop that will do this? I just have to get the computer to ignore the trans that is no longer there. Since the 30-43le is manually controlled I don't need any computer controlling, (I shift it manually). Thanks in advance for any advice.
