Sorry for taking so long to reply the Navy takes priority over everything (unfortunately) The engine, tranny, transfer are all still avaliable for sale. As for the fitment in the 88 ur guess is as good as ming i suppose if the 88's came with a v6 it wouldnt be much to make it happened. I've got the engine almost ready to pull all i have left is to take the transfer case off drop cross members and pull engine and tranny.
