I'd like to know how I can make my rear locker work in 2wd. Supposedly the how-to is somewhere on here but I couldn't find it in a search.

One wire feeds the compressor from the locker computer. Go to JY and find a mitsu diode with wire pigtails and a mitsu on/off dash switch to fit yours. Get some wire, and from an ignition hot source, run wire to switch and from switch to locker wire. Cut locker wire, install diode on the locker computer end set to allow current from computer to locker, and splice other diode wire to new switched wire and wire to locker. You can now engage locker in 2wd, or with that new switch off, and in 4wd (or whatever the oem system requires), you can engage the locker with the oem switch. The diode may not be required, but it will prevent backfeeding the locker computer.

Or...Eliminate the stupid computer from the circuit altogether. Run an on/off toggle with 12V to the pump at the plug (fused for protection of course)..and then engage your locker whenever you feel like it.

isn't that computer there to kick it out of lock when your going over 12mph. I think thats the only purpose. It protects the senile like me from driving on blacktop with the locker engaged and having the locker drive me off the cliff on the next curve.
