From time to time I have to travel and usually take my wife's car because of obvious reasons over driving a 23 year old montero.

I use my phones navigation to help me get to where I am going. In her car I can place the phone behind the steering wheel, lean it up against the dash and easily see where I need to turn. I thought this was way cool, so it gave me an idea for my next Montero addition/mod.

And here it is.

It also rotates.

Bracket and holder on the steering column cover not installed.

Here it is without the phone. I also set it up so that the holder would come off without fully removing the screw that holds it to the bracket in case I decided to take it off. The bracket would stay in place but it does not obstruct the view of the dash and is painted a flat black.
