Okay, I'm leaning towards just having them scrap the LWB, cut my losses, and look for something already smog-legal here in So Cal. I'll call the repair shop in Amarillo this week and talk it over with them.

Thanks for all the suggestions and offers to help get it back on the road, but I think this is a bridge too far.
