Body Damage is Cool

So what is the possibillity of putting in a 3.8. I thought I read somewhere that the 3.8 was tied into the transmission with the computer, much like the 5.7 and the 4L60 Chevrolet have to work together, which I am much more familiar with. I've been looking for a 3.5 since SRTNaye started his, with no luck without buying the whole truck. Is the 3.8 a stand-alone set-up does anyone know?
