Template in place on guard. I removed the wheel to give more room to remove the plastic inner guard and get at the mounting studs.

Past the point of no return. I hope the template was right.. It wasn't. The mounting holes had to be elongated to fit the mounting studs.

The hose connection on the snorkel is about 60mm. I had a 63mm and a 74mm hole saw. I used the larger to allow for a bit of movement for alignment.
