You guys are right, and the link you provided was exactly what I was searching for. I dropped it off at a drive shaft shop this morning, still waiting for a verdict. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

By the looks of it the rock guard was cracked/broken and the needle bearings are no longer in the joint.

Thank you for the quick help/info. I attempted to seperate the joint last night but my vise couldn't handle the abuse.
