Hi everyone it's been awhile.. Just been busy .. but now its summer and very hot here in Southern Idaho and i have a leak in my Radiator on the top about two inch's down from the Rad Cap.. Looks like my dad had it patched before when he owned it. but he does not remember all what he might have done to it. so i thought about having the whole thing record just gone through well everywhere i called today gave me quotes of between 400 to 600 dollars do to cost of copper and how they have to buy it to do job's like that.. So that's out. all places said they could try to re patch it if it could be done.. So called junk yards around me and one close has a 97 and 2000 montero 97 has 3.0 in it 2000 don't know yet. I bet there Montero Sports, the guy on the phone was not sure .. 40 dollars for any of them so question is, Does anyone know if any of them will work? other wise its patch it or buy a new one for 200 to 295 plastic and aluminum one... Everyone is telling me they do a better job at cooling and they have been having good luck with them all the shop's are saying this so who knows.
