Body Damage is Cool

If it is the original stock TOYOTA alt, do the brushes. Probably good for at least another 10 years, 100K miles. Get a cheapo swap out, you may by swapping annually. My 1985 has the original alternator. I did the brushes at 145,000 miles. I now have 270,000 miles. I may need brushes soon. I have not had issues since I did them in the spring of 2003.
