Pa_Jero and I just met up for his plenum exchange. Looks like my old one is quite a bit better than the one he had in his truck, so he's going with my old one instead. I still need to get new bushings so I can crank some rebuilds out.

Anyway, we discussed the deep fryer idea. I'm all for it. I'll plan on bringing a gallon of canola oil, but I'll let Pa_J tell us how much more others will have to bring. I likes me some chicken wings, so I'll pack those along.

Ok, I am bringing the deep fryer. Looks like everybody is down but I havent heard from pat and if you can toast can you ask WW if he wants to be a part of this frying extravaganza. Any body is welcome to use the deep fryer as long as everybody brings a jug (A good sized bottle please) of CONOLA oil. DO NOT GET VEGTABLE OIL!!! I will also send this in a text too. Bring enough of your food of choice to fry for everyone.

Pat call me before you get out of town.

I'm sure you guys may have read the text messages from pat also but he headed out last night around 630 or so. He camped last night at the sycamore turn off and I believe he is headed out to the rim today. The rim I think is suppose to get hammered today with rain and snow so it should make for a good muddy mess getting deep into the forest. Depending on how deep the snow is up there, we may have to extract a F250 a few times...

Thw weather has all moved out of the state by now. Radar shows all clear up that way. He may have had some rain or snow last night, but it's moved on.

Hey guys that shiz was sweet!!!

Thanks for your hospitality and awesomeness and patience with my bald tires!

I regret my early departure but that headache just wouldn't go away & I was being a downer - hey something weird on the way home though! I realized I was too distracted/tired to drive so around the Old 260 (west end) cutoff I parked off the road on a patch of ice & climbed in back to sleep... woke up about 2am and stepped outside into the warm air.. warm? I put the key in the ignition to check the ambient temperature display... 47F outside & it felt like it - is there geothermal stuff in that area?

In Payson it was 23F, why would it be 47F at a higher elevation?

Anyway I hope all of you get home safe & have good adventures!
