hey something weird on the way home though! I realized I was too distracted/tired to drive so around the Old 260 (west end) cutoff I parked off the road on a patch of ice & climbed in back to sleep... woke up about 2am and stepped outside into the warm air.. warm? I put the key in the ignition to check the ambient temperature display... 47F outside & it felt like it - is there geothermal stuff in that area?

In Payson it was 23F, why would it be 47F at a higher elevation?
