94 2wd v6 Recently replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Jumpered the TE1 and E1 and set the timing. Wasn't long after when my CEL came on. Comes up with code 26. Would timing play a part in this? I'm now starting to wonder if I didn't let the truck warm up enough to set the timing correctly. I'll set the timing again to verify and post back. Any thoughts on what else to check?
Thanks in advance! Todd

Well, I cleared the CEL and reset the timing. It hasn't come back yet.
Thanks for the reminder of the FSM. I used it for the timing belt replacement, but forgot about the diagnostic section.
Kids are doing well. My son is showing more interest in the mechanics of things than years past, so that's good. Daughter is starting to get there. All in good time.
