I'm getting ready to do this job. I priced the parts at the two Mitsubishi dealers closest to me and just the parts in the Gates timing belt kit are over $600, so I'm going to go the route you did with Rockauto.

A couple questions:

The Fel-Pro cam seal part no. TCS45704 appears to have two front seals in it. Is that the case or do I need to buy two?

When replacing the rocker cover gaskets is it necessary to remove the intake/plenum or was changing the intake and plenum gaskets a preventative measure?

Fel-Pro vs. Victor Reinz, is one better quality than the other?
