Body Damage is Cool
Well, what I found is a complete truck that has a bad tranny but the engine has new rebuilt heads along with t-belt water pump, etc.
Gonna check it out in the morning.

The thing is that I also have a low mile tranny sitting in the garage. Hope I pull the engine out and not put my tranny in there <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

That might be a winner if the short block on the donor is unmolested. Good luck. Too bad you are left coast. See quite a few sr's parting out around here.

WOW! all I can say is WOW!
I bought a "parts truck" that had a rebuilt top end engine but had a "bad tranny".
After I went to check it out I had a feeling the problem was not as bad as it looked so I got it and brought it home on a flat bed!

After troubleshooting the truck with Grasscat we found out the problem was eletrical... Turn out there was nothing wrong with the tranny!

So now I have a full working truck!!! I dont have the guts to take it apart just to take the engine out!
More hard decisions to be made! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I guess is a good problem to have! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Yeah! wife is not a happy camper!!! She said next trip I take she is gonna call the tow truck while I'm gone!

I keep telling her that these were parts trucks but they turn out to be good working trucks. (What's funny is that I'm actually telling the true) she does not believe me anymore! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
