Here we are at little over a month away from the October Mitsubishi Meet, Greet, N' Wheel. This event takes place on the east coast in the Uwharrie National Forest located in Central North Carolina. Lets make this another great turnout. Per usual its a Friday-Sunday event, with Saturday being the main day. From stock rigs to the modified there is plenty to do for everyone. Its the best bunch of people, some awesome Mitsubishi rigs, great food, and great times. We have two options this year for lodging. We can rent a cabin like we did in April, or we can stay at the Arrowhead Campgrounds. Lets decide on which one and get the ball rolling on this. (The event also known as Hallo'wharrie to our Isuzu Brothers that we will also be wheeling with)

Can't make it this year, but there's always hope for next year. I don't see anyone driving from CA across the country to wheel at URE for a couple days. I mean its a great trip, but a couple grand in gas the way the economy is these days.... that would not only break the bank for me it would disintegrate it.

I just started a new job for a major cable company, lets call them Mocmast . They give generous time off (I will have 2 weeks at my disposal after the new year) and I am thinking sometime next spring of making a trip down for one of these things... That is of course, if I ever finish the mods I want to do (endless cycle of breaking and fixing and upgrades)

I'll be pheasant hunting in North Dakota during this "event". Have a great time, looks fun! It still an event with 40+ rigs usually showing up, its just no longer that big of a Mitsubishi event. Most of the rigs that show are Isuzu. Once upon a time a couple years ago we had a lot better showings, but slowly it seems everyone has dropped off the face of planet.

Next year I plan on driving up my diesel raider. Everyone can watch me struggle on the trails, and laugh at me.

The trails have changed a bit since you were last out there Curtis but you know a stockish Raider can do most of the stuff out there. I wheeled on 235s and 31s for along time at Uwharrie. It actually makes even the easy trails a bit more interesting.
