Well, a little experimentation this evening with my tap chucked into a T-handle and lightly lubed shows that it is the correct size, and I can carefully work it down the threads without tremendous resistance.

Eddy, you used an 18V drill to drive your tap?!?!? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

Holy Toledo, man... you must need a wagon to haul those big cojones around in! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Well, the back holes are a pain with a thandle, and I have bigger lazy bones than cojones, and I can feel drill action pretty good, and I drove it slow, slow, slow, like under 60rpm...
