Sorry, but a press is needed. This is very much NOT the suspension of the earlier Toyotas. You'll need a press and an extra set of hands, given the geometry of the spindle arm.

If insisting on the bearings, use OEM stuff. I used Moog components the first round of a rebuild (BJs) and was under there 45K later.
