I don't know about wheel bearings causing brake pulsations. The usual symptoms of a bad wheel bearing is a grinding, rumbling, or droning noise that changes pitch with your speed.

Is it only when you apply the brakes? Can you feel it in the steering wheel or the seat?

You should be able to detect some play or noise in the wheels if the bearings are shot.
