Getting the Wheeling Fever
I ask this question because I have seen the 4.3l install and it looks pretty snug. I was doing my routine craigslist search and found this one - LINK

Maybe I just don't have the imagination, but it seems to me this would not be easy to fit... Maybe they cut the fenders away to make the engine bay wider?

Anyway, just curious - will not be attempting this one. ;-)

Body Damage is Cool
It looks like they took the body and put in on a chevy frame and drivetrain

That's no problem, just do away with the radiator and it'll fit.

Agreed. That's not the Raider frame.

Remember, anything can be done with enough time, money, or brains. Pick two.

Width is not the problem. It's the length that won't work. If you modify the core support, and move the radiator way way way foward, it'd be fine. There's a reason the 4.3 is the most popular Chevrolet engine though.

I'm getting ready to drop a Raider body on an S-10 frame. 30" out of the frame. Firewall moved back 4". The S-10 transmission floor tunnel. Has to be used. Lots of work.
