ok. I'm familiar with the wasted spark system. My major question is this; Is the book right with the 254163 as far as coils to plugs go or is the manifold right with the 521436? My concern is the primary side of coil and the secondary side of the coil.Even with the wasted spark its still possible to fire cyl. 4 first instead of firing cyl 1 correct? This makes sense to me since the engine ran a little better at higher RPM and fell dead at idle. Another question is why a Vehicle Speed Sensor code,when the truck isn't moving? That would lead me to worry about my ECU. Because it tells the coils when to fire and sends signal to the VSS. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
