Hi All

have not been here for a while. We are "officially" not wheeling, anymore, because we are expecting a baby soon, but we still are making some easy trips. This year Labor Day we visited the Lamoille Canyon in Nevada:

Nice pics. That's one of those places you look at and wonder how people lived/settled there 150 years ago. Of course others called it home waaaaaay before that.

Bet that guy in the Ford was happy for some company with a tow strap. Did he just sink in a big mud hole?

This is the first thing that we are going to ask the little guy - when he is ready for a trail... smile

there is no direct way between the trail and the hot springs - you must go around a little. But the guy wanted to return back to the trail from the hot springs in a short way, directly, across the soft muddy terrain. His front end immediately sunk and this is what saved him - if he would drive 10 feet further, I doubt that we would be able to pull him out of the clay mud.

Another great report Oleg. Good to see you're still enjoying life.

Wow another Oleg maybe running around, I don't know if we're ready for that yet.

Thank you, Bruno and Michael !

By the way, Bruno, the towing point that I am using on the video is on the hitch that you welded I did not want to use it initially, I was going to attach the rope to the frame hook, but the guy suggested the tow hitch - because "they make it very strong". Well, the guy did not recognize that this is a home-made hitch. "You asked for this" and I gave it a try and the hitch hold very well, no problems ! So, the welding is really strong, thank you very much.

I hope to see you guys on the trails in a few months

Nice report Oleg and congrats on your new addition. PS. Invest in a diaper genie original model unless you like the smell of baby poo. :-)
