Most of us want our syncros to actually grip. The friction modifier reduces grip which can do nothing but bad things to a transmission.


I guess it begs the question then of why Mitsubishi would issue a Tech. Service Bulletin specifying the addition of one <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
