I neglected to note the orientation of the shifter plate when I removed the gearshift lever. This is the plate that has the concave portion with a slot cut through the center of it that the shift lever extends through into the transmission. The slot extends beyond the concave portion on one side and I am wondering if that orients towards the front or the rear of the truck? If anyone can set me straight on this I'd appreciate it.
