Why do you guys tear his ass apart before he can post pictures? It might be hack, but I haven't seen enough pictures yet.
I want to see some more of the UCA mount and steering.

I have to agree. It has never been a prereq that everyone likes or agrees with a particular mod before posting. Sometimes even the most failed attempt can lead to the greatest break through.

I dont see anyone tearing dude apart. We're just asking for detailed pics....just like you just did, and just like we asked for the last 3 times this guy posted about this rig. Maybe he'll actually come through this time, or maybe he'll dissapear again for another year after people start asking questions. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (again). The concept isn't all that far fetched, but I'll reserve my opinion on the execution until I see more.
The Trooper guys cut and weld their diff brackets for an extra inch or so of lift in the front end so it can be done. I just haven't seen it done on a Montero yet, nor do I know if the same concept can be reliably done on our rigs. Would be nice to get a little extra lift in the front without cranking the T-bars on our Monteros.

Jinstv, the last time this guy posted was 8-5-10, so you may have missed him. This isn't the first go-around with this. Here's how it goes:
Guy posts the same pictures of a truck with no engine in it, either in a garage or on a trailer, never driving.
People ask him questions and question his actions/work.
Guy gets ticked off, does not answer questions or demonstrate the product in the 'real world.'
Guy disappears.

Yeah, I've read the old threads on this from before. It was quite entertaining. I'm just wondering if the concept of spacing the differential a small amount could possibly be implemented on our trucks. Like the Trooper guys do.

Maybe he's decided to just keep his truck and be a montero guy now, I'm fine with that. Would like to see the truck out on the trail crawling rocks.
Having said that, I've come up with a lot of montero things over the years that i've sold and given away to you guys. Most things i've made have been shelved after testing due to problems or by the time something was finished and flawless it would be just too expensive or complicated to install by the average joe (which is the opposite of my goal).

Just go ahead with your stuff dude. You obviously have a concept going here, we'd like to see it. The anonymity of the web allows people to dog you, and if you let your panties get bundled up about it, you just leave. There will always be people jumpinng on you, so ignore them. 90% of them wouldn't be able to buy what you were selling anyway if it was a commercial product. Throw the ideas out the, show us what you got.

After being gone for 14 months, you'd think there would be a whole host of pictures, videos and testing results/refinements. Maybe it would have even been painted by now. Not so much, huh?
