I want to mount some fabric onto plywood, and then paint over the fabric with some kind of clear coat, and end up with a finish similiar to if it was just painted wood. Anyone ever done this? The fabric I have is a denim and twill? It's in the mail...haven't received it yet. Any suggestion on what would work best for the clear?
