The front axle probably has an open-differential. Turning the front wheels with the hubs locked should turn the drive shaft (have to have both hubs locked, as I found with my Sporty). But I think you might get a better idea of what's going on if you put all 4 wheels in the air and test it with the engine running & turning the transfer case. If your drive shaft doesn't turn under power with the wheels in the air, then I suspect your problem is in the T-case... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
