Option 1) keep it the way you have it or 2)if you must, switch to the AISIN manual hubs. There are also aftermarket manual hubs, Superwinch and Rugged Ridge.
I do not recommend the Auto hubs, IMHO they are crap. By that, I mean specifically their function is crap.

I have a set (well, a few sets) of Auto Hubs, pay shipping if you want them.
Second, I have a set of Superwinch hubs that I'm replacing with Aisin units that I'd make a deal on to you.
Third, Paul (plh) is selling new Chinese hubs for just a few $$ more than typical junkyard prices.

By all means if it is not worth doing I am open to opinions It's worth doing. You'll also have a slight MPG increase. John B.

Converting to manual hubs will be my first upgrade once my 2000 Montero arrives.
Spence 1985 Mitsubishi PU 2.3 Turbo Diesel, 13" lift, Watercooled turbo, 4D56 Head, Atlas II,Fox Coilovers, Elockers,
1983 Mitsubishi PU 2.5 Turbo Diesel 4x4, fully restored
2003 G500, sliders, beadlocks, roofrack, ladder etc.
