Calling it a night...

Cranking in the dark revealed no arching that I could see.

Cleaned a few harness connectors. Can't hurt.

I did not remove the high pressure fuel line, bc I can feel fuel entering the rubber section of the hose immediately before the rail inlet. I figured that was good enough for at least ruling out clog between pump and engine. If I go back to fuel I'll see if I can rent a fuel pressure check setup, but I feel like it's probably fine.

I redid the check for spark from the dizzy wire to chassis via screwdriver and confirmed no spark. I even bought a silly spark plug checker as a backup and it showed no spark.

FastEddy, I studied your instructions on dizzy swap and also read through the manual about the procedure and what's happening and feel like I've got a decent handle on it so that's next. Hopefully tomorrow morning or evening.
