I know some of you in California don't regularly check out the CA/NV forum so I thought I ought to mention that we've got a trip planned for this weekend. We plan on running NW Nevada (see area where waypoints are located below). We won't be visiting all the waypoints but will check out a few of them. Being that it's getting cold now, we will be staying in hotels/motels in Fernley NV ~40 miles east of Reno. Good luck. Some of those are fun. Especially if you find some snow. Guess I've visited quite a few of those.

I'm definitely game but unfortunately it usually competes with many other activities and my limited time off. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I'm definitely game to check out the area though. some of those you'd be gaining 2000+ of elevation definitely will see some snow. Too bad it's pretty much day's drive for me each way.

Video with lots of obstacle conquering action added. Click here for the thread. Mostly this trip was about traction or the lack thereof. Because of the incline, there was certainly a sufficient amount of pucker factor for all.
