We recently had a bunch of snow . It melted and I noticed water pooling on the front passenger floor. I found the source of the leak and repaired it. Few days later I smell something burning . The heater blower motor died . I take it out , it clearly has water damage. I replaced with a new blower motor from kia . My resistor looked bad (stained ), So I raplaced it with one from a 2000 model from the junk yard. I install everything and it works but the blower motor stays on high and does not shut off till you stop the engine . You can adjust hot/cold , direct vents . but cannot lower blower motor speed or turn off. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />
