I fitted a new rear main seal into the bracket/carrier (whatever) for my daughter's Montero and the service manual calls for anaerobic sealant, but I'm not sure where to put it. Any tips?

Also, is Vaseline OK on the end of the crank shaft to help bed in the new rear main seal?

Cheers fellas
