Thanks guys. I just noticed that Permatex anaerobic sealant is $50 for a tube the size of thread locker <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> The seal carrier has a gasket between it and the block so I don't really understand why the anaerobic sealant is necessary.

Anyone change a rear main without it and had no issues?
