34?16'6.66"N 117?27'45.30"W Ray, these coordinates were derived from Google Earth. Type in Lost Lake, CA and you'll find the road, just south of the Cleghorn / I-15 intersection. Lost Lake is a sag pond located directly on the Fault. I don't know the name of the road, sorry. This was part of my undergrad mapping. The trail is a two-track that connects Lone Pine Road to the Devore area. I'm not aware of any passing restrictions, but it has been 18 years since my last visit. I have the US Forest Map for San Bernardino Mountains, lists all the forestry roads by number. If you need, I could send it to you. Russell I pulled up those coordinates in google maps and get this... ![[Linked Image]](http://inlinethumb23.webshots.com/48918/2283817350104986527S600x600Q85.jpg) If you click on the image it will take you to the webshots page where you can then view the full sized image (look in upper right of that page). Do you mind downloading the full sized image then using paint or some other app outline the trail and either email it back or post the full sized image somewhere so ill know where the trail is? BTW, also sent you 2 other images to your yahoo email address. TIA!

I should also point out that for those coming from NorCal you'll probably want to drive down the day before and sleep overnight in S.Cal. It's a long drive to make to try and get there by this morning. I'm looking at getting a motel room in Palmdale CA the night before.
So currently we have...
Going off-roader (Ray) tyty13 (Tyson) m3at333hp (Andrew) mike5 (Mike) Torquey (Jason) Keanan (Keanan) Jason (Jason) Grasscat (Mike)
Maybe's Wendy (Wendy) cnynrat (Dave) NickR (Nick) Kirk (Kirk) John (John) Silverwulf (Chris)
Some of these drivers are from another forum where I also mentioned the trip.
Hope more of us from the Wire can make it!

Ok.
I should point out for all that if the trails are dry then it will be an easy run. However if they're wet, it could get challenging especially on the bypasses. As long as you have AT tires I suspect you'll be fine on the main trail although it may be slippery depending on just how wet the dirt is. If you have street tires, I'd think twice about buying a set of AT tires.
Also for those coming from NorCal you'll probably want to drive down the day before and sleep overnight in S.Cal. It's a long drive to make to try and get there the same morning. I'm looking at getting a motel room in Palmdale CA the night before.
