Well , went to both pick n pulls today , the one that said they had 4 jeeps lied , they had one 95 limited like my 96 , the 249 had been pulled and was sitting on the ground , I looked at the tag So , that was a waste of a trip to go there to find out they know nothing about what is out there.

My other trip worked out well , they had a 95 orvis edition there in great shape , guy killed the motor , and if you would have seen the inside of the TB you would know why
Anyway , I grabbed the upcountry springs , then also grabbed the fuel rails so when my hughes intake gets here on Monday I will have them painted and ready to go on the intake , plus I have the thermostat housing , and TB , so it will be almost plug and play for install.
I just gave the springs a quick spray of tremclad , they only had a couple flecks of rust , but they look new now I am not sure if I will go with a 1 1/2 or a 2" spacer with the upcountry , can't remember what the lift was , I think it was 3/4"?

Anyway , the main reason I made the trip was to grab a 242 so I could swap that , now will have to see what other pick n pulls are reasonably close that have a 242.I am not going to a wrecker that pulls things out and then sells them , 750 is way too much for a transfer case.I will also scour the locals to see if anyone is parting one out , then can grab the case and the drive shafts.
