LT and I tagged tagged along with clay the phoenix junkyards yesterday. Found some pretty good deals out there. 4;90 F&R ring and pinion's out of a sport for $350 with the junkyard pulling out the drop out assemblys. LT is gonna confirm the axle sizes with the vin #. Also found a Gen 3 in the yard, Whole truck is there with a supposed bad motor, $1000 takes her home (There is an extra (cough cough) 3.5 around these AZ parts, Running) just sayin. Also found a SR rear end, could be a score for someone. We also found a few sets of rear end 4:90's if anyone is interested. Somebody should jump on these deals, I considered buying the gen 3 to put a running motor in it and just selling it, That or keep it around. I don't really need another project though.

I wouldn't mind getting in on those F&R 4.90's, but Xmas friggin tapped me out for a bit. Still have some more parts to buy for my engine build before I can start slapping it back together, so I'm not sure if I can swing the cash to get them.

Did you come across any front diffs, gen2 4.6 gears?

Which yard would I find one in. Are they you pull it places, or make you wait a week for them to pull it.

I think most yards those were in are at yards where they will pull it but I don't remember them all off hand. What year gen 2 or what size axle?

It is a 95sr axle in a 99.

Another Gen1 lwb just showed up at junk yard "X"...LOL
89 5 speed lsd grey inside and red-ish out ...
Theirs two other 89 lwb one 5 speed ..one auto too...
