I think she mentioned that it will crank and run for a bit. Making much noise in the process though.

My suggestion would be to look at the engine oil filter. If it did lose a bearing, there will be a lot of metal in the filter.

I have used a chisel and a pair of metal shears, they do make tools open them up, but the are kind of pricey.

Anyone think the front pully might be loose?
