The stock Mikuni carb is a POS, and has a rat's nest of hoses associated with it. All the more reason to junk it and replace it with a Weber 32/36.


Not when they're set up properly w/out leaking vacuum lines which IIRC is the number one problem other than some bozo not hooking the lines up correctly.


I agree with Ray. There are millions of those carb's out there and if properly tune they are just fine. Reminds me of my days dealing with the Volkswagen bug, gotta change the carb to a Weber or it won't run right. BS
