With the air cleaner off and motor idling, look down the carb throat. Do you see any gas dribbling from the booster venturies?

Slowly rev the engine to about 2500 RPM. The secondary booster should stay dry, the primary should start to put some fuel out.

As you raise the RPMs are there any flat spots?

With the engine idling, block off the carb intake with your hand. The engine should slow down. If it speeds up you have a vacuum leak.
