Here's an update on the status of my purchase...

I received a message from the seller (middle-man) saying that MasterJeep.com won't sell the Track Finder locker as a part. They will only sell it assembled in a carrier (with bearings) because they say it is very difficult to install correctly.


That, my friend, is pure BS. had the same sob story when i bought my diff lock. the trackfinder guys said that they will not sell it if its not in a carrier-cause its real hard to install. yeah right.....as you can see from when i posted the album - installing it is a piece of cake. my guy called them and soon enough - they were willing to sell it without the carrier. im really sorry for you-but thats no way to treat a paying customer. 600$ is a whole lot of money and i think its not fair. besides- have you seen the pics on my album?? the diff lock comes in a box the size of a cigarette pack. the carrier - well - its big! its probably expensive to ship too. not fair, i must say.
