Yeah, I'd really recommend that you NOT tow anything over 2500 lbs, ever...

I'm speaking from experience, I nearly lost my rig when I was making a dump run with 3200lbs. I had the trailer loaded properly and I was going about 50 when I started the death sway, Luckily, I was headed for an uphill that I could safely slow down on.

If you find your self in a sticky situation while towing (such as a sway), NEVER hit the brakes, you'll spin out...

I do however tow my 1100lb tent trailer several thousand miles a year, and average 18.5mpg doing so! I run a small cooler on the trans, an electric radiator fan, and a 3" lift w/ 235/75s.
