I put them in my gen 1 like 6 yrs ago. They just recently split died... Gonna get some replacements. mine came with some rubber pucks approx 1 1/2 inch thick. I think this was for another application. but in my truck even with the front cranked I could easlier raise the rear 3 inches or more. So with the pucks yes they will raise it. I think you need to get the pucks separetly.
