Does anyone know if the air lifts that have the bags that go into the coil springs actually lift the truck or if they just reduce sagging with heavy loads? I have air bags on my Gen 1 that I used for leveling the ride when towing trailers. The ride when empty sucked, The ones I had would not lift the rear much and when there was enough air in them to lift the truck the spring rate was stupid high, the articulation was gone.

with a gen 3 independant front suspension how would I raise the front also? bigger struts? Torsion bar crank will get you ~2" which also means a slightly stiffer front suspension and less articulation than when left stock. That said its a VERY effective way to do a front end suspension lift. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> On a gen 3 you need bigger struts, but since you have a montero sport all you need is a torsion bar crank. Your montero sport is not a gen 3 montero. Its a mix of gen 1 and 2.

go with Gen2 coils for an inch of lift,,,,go with the Old Man Emu springs for sale in parts bin (mine) if you want even more lift and no sag for towing.
