Getting the Wheeling Fever

So, I noticed I get a small trickle of water in the car wash from the passenger-side front corner of my sunroof. Didn't think it was a big deal, until I reached up to check the seal and CHUNKS of the sunroof frame flaked off just from me touching it.
I assume the drain plugs are clogged, and were letting water sit in the track. Is there anything anyone can recommend to save the frame and plug the leak? I honestly think I could pull the lower edge of the sunroof off with a screwdriver and minimal effort right now...
Third times a charm.

I'll see what I can do. It doesn't *look* bad at first so I'm guessing a camera wouldn't do it justice. However, if you touch it, you quickly realize that its just chunks of rust loosely hanging on to the corner.

IMHO (ZERO experience with this so take it with a HUGE grain of salt... perhaps the size of Gibraltar LOL) Surface rust can be controlled/stopped. Big chunks falling off = R&R part or all of that frame area.

I'm almost wonder if I should just replace the glass/frame at this point. It almost doesn't seem salvageable -- I somewhat doubt I'd get a good seal without a ton of work and an ugly fix.
Side note: what's the easiest way to un-plug the drains?

Sounds like a problem, unless you want to spend a ton of money or time. I think Id look at trying to clean up the lip, fill the entire lip area with clear caulk with the sunroof open, put the caulk on the bottom edge of the sunroof, shut the sunroof, clean up the caulk, never open it again and call it a skyview roof.Prety redneck I know but better than duct-tape.

I used piece of copper wire. I don't recall the gauge. It was flexible enough to push it up from under the truck through the drain tubes. IIRC there are four. One tube for each corner of the sunroof.

Any way to do it from the top down?

Any way to do it from the top down? You can but it's better to go from the bottom up since stuff is probably wedged in going down hence the reason it's backed up in the first place. LP air may also work but perhaps others can chime in on how effective that may or may not be.

It's just that it's wet and nasty here, and I don't have a garage. Getting under the truck isn't very appealing to me right now.
